OUR PROCESS
While each project and client are unique, our tried and true process ensures success for our clients and projects.
1. LISTEN. ASK QUESTIONS. REPEAT.
Commonly, this is referred to as the programming phase of a project. It is our chance to make sure that we know what our clients want, and help our clients be able to fully communicate what they need. We meet and listen. We ask questions to dig deeper and get more specific. We discover preferences, functional requirements and usage needs. Then we ask more questions to uncover more detail and recap our conversations to make sure we are all on the same page before the first line is drawn.
At STA, we value design and the client, honoring both in the process. Design is our passion. Personalized service is our standard. In fact, our size allows us to be extremely flexible and empowers us to serve our clients well.
2. ANALYZE, APPLY KNOWLEDGE & CREATE.
During the next phase of the project we’ll analyze all of the data collected during the programming phase, apply our experience to the information, and create a design that works. Our goal in the design process is to apply our experience and expertise to focus on nuances and details that pull the whole project together in a way that exceeds expectations.
3. SETTING PROJECTS UP FOR SUCCESS
Once a design is firmly set, we produce documents for bidders and contractors. Our documentation is concise, complete and correct so that contractors and bidders are set up for success. We enjoy being actively involved during the construction process as an advocate not only for the integrity of the design, but also the vision of our client.
When we use the word ‘integrity,’ we mean more than honesty and quality work. We mean that we stand up for what’s right and stand behind the work we do, the people we do it for, and the people we do it with. At STA integrity is professionalism in action and investment in our work.
